XV AEEA Congress of Agrifood Economics

The agrifood economics congresses organized by the Spanish Association of Agrifood Economics (AEEA) are an academic and scientific reference for the debate on the problems of agrifood economics and natural resources, in the broadest sense.

The next XV AEEA Congress of Agrifood Economics will also be the I Congress of the Ibero-American Network of Agrifood Economics and Natural Resources (RIEARN). It will be held in Granada, at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Granada, on September 3, 4 and 5, 2025 under the theme “Providing solutions in times of change from the agrifood and environmental economics”.

This motto expresses the need to carry out useful applied science to address the major challenges facing the agricultural and food sector. All this in a scenario marked by the uncertainty derived from rapid technological and geopolitical changes, which have an impact on individual behavior and put at risk the sustainability of the sector and, therefore, that of society in general.

The congress will be organized by:

  • University of Granada (UGR)
  • Andalusian Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA).
