REGISTRATION

The registration period for the congress is open until September 1st. Registration must be completed through the Conftool platform: https://www.conftool.org/aeea2025

The registration process includes optional sign-up for pre-congress sessions, technical visits, and the social program.
When registering for the social program, please select only those activities you genuinely intend to attend. This helps us reduce food waste and ensures that limited spots are reserved for participants who plan to take part.

Payment: The payment method is via bank transfer.

As a general rule, there should be at least one registered author per paper (please contact the organization in case you are unable to comply).

The registration fee includes:

Access to all presentations, keynote lectures, and pre-conference sessions
Morning and/or afternoon coffee breaks and lunch during the three conference days
The social program (including the welcome reception and the gala dinner)
Participation in one technical visit (to be chosen from four available options)

Participant Description:

Members: Members of the AEEA, Spanish Federation of Sociology (FES), Association of Spanish Geographers (AGE), Society for the Study of Agrarian History (SEHA), Portuguese Society for Rural Studies (SPER), Latin American Association of Rural Sociology (ALASRU), Mexican Association for Rural Studies (AMER), Rural Studies Network (Brazil), Brazilian Society of Economics, Administration and Rural Sociology (SOBER), Mexican Society of Agricultural Administration (SOMEXAA), Argentine Association of Agricultural Economics (AAEA), Uruguayan Society of Agricultural Economists (SUEA), Association of Agricultural Economists of Chile, and the Portuguese Association of Agricultural Economics (APDEA).

Students, PhD candidates, and retirees: If any researcher/professional is unable to pay the fee due to their employment situation or lack of institutional support, please contact the organization to request a scholarship (extensible to accommodation). A priori, the requirements will be justification of economic need and the acceptance of a good quality research paper. The AEEA does not want anyone to be unable to attend for economic reasons.

Single-day attendees and companions: The registration modality for a single day does not allow for the presentation of contributions at the conference. Additionally, there is a companion fee of 125 euros/day. This mode of attendance allows your companion(s) to attend the sessions and scheduled activities on the days for which you register them, but does not allow companions to present contributions at the conference.

Non-members: If you are not a member, you are also welcome to our conference.
